COSMONAUTiCAL•net ex asteris, scientia
Welcome to the newly updated COSMONAUTiCAL•net. Created in Spring 2006, the COS•net has gone through some extensive remodeling over time as my dreams and ambitions have changed and evolved. Originally displaying my art and design, the new-and-improved COS•net will showcase my writing and resume.

When I was little, I wanted to be an astronaut. I decided, in sixth grade, that I was going to be the first person to step foot on Mars. I've changed career goals since then - web and graphic designer, fashion designer, purple tree - but I haven't lost any ambition. As I've gone up through my undergraduate degree at Simmons College, I've finally found my niche: academia.
I've always liked to read books and talk about them. I didn't realize that you could make a living on that until I got to know some of my professors and realized that, basically, was their job.
Well, imagine that.
So I went to one of my professors and I said, "professor, how do I get your job?" and she told me "you go to graduate school." It was the same answer I got when I asked my advisor what I should do with my major; "sensei," I said, "what do you do with a major in East Asian Studies?" and he told me, "you go to grad school."
With that in mind, I set about revamping COS•net, created as a place to sell my skills, to reflect my current aspirations. Please take a look around and feel free to email me if you have any suggestions, comments or questions about my work.
